  • Any nervousness, fears, sensitivities or health issues

Opening hours

The Coat Club is appointment-only and I work one-to-one (one dog at a time) so the salon may be closed outside of booked appointments.

Usual opening hours:

Tues - Fri: 9:00am - 4.30pm

Sat: 9:30am - 1:30pm

Sun & Mon: Closed

Need an earlier/later slot? Message me and If I can make it work, I will!

Please note:If you arrive early, the door may be closed while I’m working with another dog. I will be with you as soon as possible.

Appointment info

I only groom one dog (or one households dogs) per appointment — no overlaps. This is so I can give one dog my whole attention for their whole groom, and help make their appointment as calm as possible.

  • Grooming times vary depending on coat type, size, and comfort levels.

  • Appointments typically take 1.5–3 hours.

  • I’ll text you 15 minutes before your dog is ready for collection

If your dog is new, a puppy, or a little unsure, that’s completely okay — I work gently and at their pace.

Before your appointment

A few things that help your dog have a calm, enjoyable groom:

  • A short walk and toilet break beforehand, especially after a car journey . Please make sure to pick up after your dog if necessary.

  • If you feed your dog before their appointment, please ensure to leave some time between eating and grooming, as a full stomach can make handling uncomfortable for them.

  • Arrive at your scheduled time (not early or late).

  • A calm, simple goodbye works best at drop-off. Long, emotional handovers can make dogs feel unsure — but once you’ve headed out, they usually settle beautifully

  • Let me know if there’s anything your dog finds tricky, or has any behavioural or medical issues — I’ll make adjustments for them as best I can.

  • Sometimes my own dog may be in the studio with me - if you think you’re dog would be more comfortable with no other dogs there, please let me know beforehand.

These small preparations will ensure a more comfortable and positive experience for your dog.

Need to reschedule?

If you need to change your appointment, please give me as much notice as possible (ideally within 48 hours of your appointment) so I can offer the slot to another dog.

Looking forward to meeting you!

I can’t wait to welcome you and your dog to The Coat Club!
