Hi, I’m Lyndsey — the dog stylist behind The Coat Club.

I’ve grown up around dogs all my life, learning from an early age how to read their body language and understand what makes them feel safe and relaxed.

Before grooming, I spent five years studying photography and went on to work in fashion and e-commerce — creative work that taught me a lot about precision, aesthetics, and flow. But after years behind a screen, I realised I wanted a career that felt more hands-on, rewarding, and connected.

In 2020, I trained as a dog groomer and have since worked in several busy salons before opening The Coat Club — a calm, one-to-one space designed to make grooming a positive, comfortable experience for every dog.

I focus on kind, patient handling and thoughtful styling that suits each dog’s individual coat and personality. My aim is always to keep the atmosphere as relaxed and stress-free as possible.

My background in photography still influences everything I do — from paying attention to small details in each groom to capturing portraits that celebrate a dog’s unique character.

My own dog, Laszlo, along with every other dog I’ve had before, is the heart of The Coat Club and the daily reminder that grooming is about trust, not just appearance.
